Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform that enables us to utilize video sessions.

Do you offer in-person therapy?
My practice is 100% telehealth at this time, so you can get support from wherever you are within the state of Massachusetts.
Do you take insurance?

Although I do not work directly with insurance panels, if you have a PPO or another plan that allows you to select an out-of-network provider, you may be able to get reimbursement from your insurance carrier.  I provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. Regardless of your insurance plan, you should always ask your insurance company what mental health benefits your plan allows for. We will discuss my fee during our initial free 15-minute consultation. If you decide to seek therapy from me, payment is due at the time of service.

Is therapy confidential?

Your privacy is very important to me. State and federal laws protect your confidential and private healthcare information for both in-person and online therapy. Your information cannot be disclosed without your written permission with the exception of the following circumstances:

  • Suspected child, elder, or dependent adult abuse
  • The threat of bodily harm to self or another person(s)

These exceptions and any questions you may have about confidentiality will be discussed during our initial session.

What is the typical length and duration of treatment sessions?
The therapy hour is 45 minutes long. The duration of treatment is based on the nature and severity of the issues, as well as the treatment goals and plan. During our treatment planning process we will discuss the estimated treatment duration.
Who will answer my phone call or email message?
I will personally respond to your message as soon as possible, typically within 24 hours.
What services do you not provide?
I do not provide emergency crisis services. In such an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Do you have a cancellation policy?

Due to limited availability, I request that you cancel at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment. You may cancel by phone or email.

Cancellations made without 24 hour notice incur a charge of the full appointment session.
